Request for Exhaust Sound/Video Clips for W208 CLK55?
Could those who have an aftermarket exhaust (cat-back preferably) on a 208 CLK55 post a sound/video clip of the sound?
I'm trying to figure out which aftermarket exhaust I should get![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Thanks

I'm curious too, particularly to hear a Kleemann system. Those headers look awesome but Learso mentioned just after he put them in a few weeks ago that it sounded like there was a submarine running underneath the floorboards. That's OK if you want to listen to "In the Navy" by Village People but I'm wondering if its compatible with some soft Charlie Parker.

Anyone?? ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I've been watching E-Bay for a used Renntech cat-back. Last I heard a Renntech cat back was on a 500E and it had a nice growl to it (then again, i've always thought that the M119 V8 has a nicer growl than the 113)

That was on my w209 CLK500 (sorry), but it should sound pretty similiar. Its an Eisenmann Race, it was before I got the resonator cut out.

I got it and had it installed at AI Design...which bought it from Eisenhaus.
I love it during everday driving, it gives a nice rumble when you cruise. My parents and most older people hate it, they think its too loud and deep. On parkways at about 70 mph you do hear a deep muscle drone. At idle, the car is very quiet. Once you hit the gas you can hear it. It also depends on the temperature. At like 30F and below its very loud and sounds like a muscle car. Once the weather starts to warm up, it sounds very deep and still has a muscle-car tone to it. It is pretty similiar to a Cobra with straight pipes, just not as loud and a little more bass to it than muscle. I get compliments and attention with it all the time, just wish my car was faster so I could have less show and more go. I drive this car everyday and love it, but I am sure it could get on some people's nerves.
