Assist Lights Problem

I cant remember exactly what they were told, I am talking about the headlights staying lit for 15 secs after you turned off the ignition and take the key out. That 15secs is configurable through the settings menu.

Mine hasnt been working, so when I take the key out it turns off the headlights. I have checked the menu, it is turned on from the menu. Any ideas? I still have warranty so I can take it in but my wife makes fun of me :-) everytime I bring my MBs to service.

Now on my car the only way to get the lights to stay on after I shut the car off is to keep the light switch in the "auto" position. If its in the "O" (off) position they will not stay on. Now, about the amount of time they stay on....that is set though the steering wheel buttons and menus. Hope that helps.
