AMG Quad Exhaust Upgrade for W209 CLK55 Cabrio

AMG Quad Exhaust Upgrade for W209 CLK55 Cabrio
Just wanted to share some pictures and videos of a recent upgrade we did on a W209 CLK55 Cabrio. As you know, the 55 Cabrio (unlike the coupe) does not have quad setup. Because of the placement of the top, the spare tire well is offset to the passenger side and does not allow for a second muffler to be added. We split the factory muffler and branched over to the passenger side with a pair of AMG tips. The bumper was trimmed to accomodate the tips and the black insert from a 55 Coupe. We also modified the factory muffler to release some much needed exhaust note. All stainless steel tubing/bends. Enjoy!

I am buying this kit right now.
I believe that this will fit W209 CLK55 coupe with dual exhaust as well.
Simon, please send me a PM with price ASAP.
Damn.. I wanted this product so bad..

The customer was VERY particular and wanted everything perfect and as stock looking as possible. You can't see it in the pics, but we even molded the bumper where we cut so it folds up at the edges to look exactly like the other side and painted the lower half. The job was roughly $4,500 for parts and labor. Unless you can find the right tips, you will most likely have to purchase a complete muffler to obtain them. We can ship parts out to you (rear dual insert, muffler, stainless tubing, correct bends, flanges, hardware, etc.) if you have a shop that can perform the install, but we would prefer the car to be sent to us. We are working on potentially putting a complete system together (welded and ready to be bolted on) as we've received much interest in this over the last week. I have to admit, it looks even better in person and it sounds awesome!

I want one...complete kit is preferable - I do not have a shop here that I trust to do the welding - keep us updated
how does this sound compared to one of the aftermarket exhausts i.e Eisenman race or Kleeman?
