Lowered CLK55 now has alignment probs???
I just had my CLK55 lowered and put on 18" monoblocks and it looks great but...
One problem now is that the steering doesnt want to return to center after a large amount of wheel turn. If I make a u-turn or sharp turn I have to actually hand over hand the wheel back to the center position, cant let it spin through my hands like before. Could this be because of different tire pressures or is there perhaps something wrong with the front alignment? It was aligned after it was lowered but the shop never mentioned anything about camber bolts or the like and I'm beginning to think this may be a factor.
Any thoughts???

This is a common problem after lowering/wheel upgrades. What you are expirencing is a camber problem. It is not possible from what I am told to adjust Mercedes to negative camber without a camber kit or bending some of the suspension components on your car.
