Radar Detector Installation
I'm sure this question has been asked a 1000 times.
But I'm going to ask it again.
I need to locate a good "Key On Only" power souce to mount my V1. I found power and a ground, but would like to have a connection where the power is only on when the key is on.
Can anybody point me in the right direction?
If you have installed a radar detector and have pic's that would be great.
Any help is appreciated.
Tim
PS
I read the post about the etched mirror but don't want to do that, I take my V1 in and out to use in my other cars.

I have the hidden K40 radar dectector and diffuser installed on my CLK. Works great, got it installed at a place nearby. Kinda expensive though, $1000+. Should've gotten V1. Although, the thing about my detector, it's only 2 little red lights on the dash, one meaning front detection, other meaning back. And the diffuser was installed by the license plate since radar guns usually detect using the license plate. I'm not sure, but supposedly when you run by a cop, it says "00" mph on their guns. They accidently placed it on my car, for a retail value of like $200+ or something, and decided to leave it on. Nice guys.
