Yes it is the massive Carlsson rear wing designed for road racing.
He used to live 60 seconds from my house until he got traded away.
Seeing him drive down the street with his head over the windscreen was priceless. His 360 Spyder was even funnier. He was a full 2 heads above the windscreen!
His CLK looked ok in person.... The grills on all his cars are alaways terrible.

He actually fit fine in that car but he did of course have the seat tracks extended so he could put the seat further back.

I think he riced it out too much. I think it looks hot in the first pic (I can't see how the wing looks so I can't really comment). One thing I really like is the flared wheel arches. I really want to get a widebody look like that. Is that included in the Carlsson body kit?

In the first picture where he's leaning on the hood, he's so big that the CLK looks like an SLK.
