I'm not sure the 2002 production figures have been released yet (production of the coupe reportedly ceased in January '02).
However, I seem to recall that for 2001, AMG built about 2,000 CLK55's and 1024 were imported to the U.S. My best guess is that they made another 1500 units or so for MY2002, with a little over half coming to the states.
I remember reading a thread that they imported just 521 CLK55 cabrios.....

On June 27, 2002 I tried to find the CLK55 AMG production stats, but I only got a typical bureaucratic, insulting, lazy, 5th grade-level Mercedes-Benz brush-off.
