W209 help needed (bi-xenon question)....
I purchased some used OEM bi-xenon headlights for my CLK55 and my mechanic is saying that since they are a different wattage than my current halogen headlights--they will not work.
Anybody made the switch from the stock halogens to MB OEM bi-xenons?
How did it work? What were the obstacles you had to overcome?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

This topic has been discussed a million times. If you do a search I am sure you will find the answer.
BUT to answer your question, they WILL work. You just have to go to the dealership and have them change your settings via star diag computer to:
Xenon=present.
Good luck.
PS. They will WORK. Once you install them, they will turn on and then start to flicker. That is an indication that you need to change your settings.
