DIY Brake Pad Replacement
Any one change their own brake pads on a W208 CLK55? Any chance I could get some step by step instructions? Anything to watch out for? Will I need any other parts like wear sensors?
Also - I am thinking of going with the Akebono Ceramic pads for 3 reasons.
1 - Less Brake dust
2 - Easier on Rotors?
3- approx 1/2 cost of stock
Any other suggestions on pads? I only picked this brand because I saw them at Tire Rack..
Thanks!

as far as pads go...all of them make dust, my brembo's make about the same as stock, so unless your doing something with the car ie: road racing, the stock pads will do quite the job. Remember the harder the pad, your rotors will warp more easily, so now you will looking to buy rotors also! So if your just driving the car normal, with the occasional hit here and there...stay stock!!!
As far as step by step pad replacement, ill try and work on some pics and instruction , but its so easy you wont need them, my best advice is to just look at them, you will probably say to yourself ...thats it!
