New Owner/ Member AMG CLK63 Questions
2007 AMG clk 63 Convertible.
I like to do a lot of my own work on cars and with the CLK being new, I could use alot of my co-members insights and wisdom.
I have utilized the forum's search function to no avail AND this Benz is my first Benz so I am not familiar with the Merc Benz systems and way of "doing anything".
Anyway here are the initial areas in which I would like some help and instructions:
1 - I want to change the Harmon Kardon Subwoofer speaker. How do I gain access to that speaker?
2 - How do I remove the door trim panels on this new model?
3 - How do I do an oil change and filter on this 6.3 AMG?
4 - And most important, does someone have available a workshop manual for this car? If not, would a 2006 CLK55 workshop manual be available?
5 - Lastly, any tips to install a Valentine One and remote display into this car...such as the best power source? (I was thinking of accessing power near the interior light switch near the roof).

AFAIK, paper workship manuals don't exist. You should be able to access all the specific information you seek for a small fee over on www.startekinfo.com.
Good luck
Any pics of your ride?

The guys who installed my afermarket sub and amp took off the black subwoofer cover (right behind the left rear passanger headrest). They just unplugged the stock one and hooked up the new one in the trunk. Your setup may be different though because it is a 63 and its a cabriolet. Good luck.
