'01 CLK 55 AMG Gas Mileage??
Ok, so i know its never gonna be a Toyota Prius, but am looking to buy one of these cars and just wondered what my expectations should be for gas mileage. A lot of my driving is in the city, but I also do longer runs out of town.
Any thoughts much appreciated...

Just returned from a roadtrip, interstate miles, and got 23.1 mpg. Almost all highway miles traveling 80mph, so that gives you one perspective. Never tracked it in town.

I do mostly city driving however, and I get between 12-15mpg, depending on my driving..

Similar results here:
24mpg on the highway at 65-70mph. I can get this reliably.
20-22mpg on the highway if I'm hammering it every now and then on the highway.
13-15mpg in the city (stop and go traffic).
Mixed city/hwy is prob around 18-21
