2004 CLK55 exhaust and 2005 CLK55 exhaust

I am changing my 2004 dual exhaust to 2005 AMG quad exhaust and I have parts number ready for the muffler. The problem is the spare tire well. It is that 2004 and 2005 seem to have the same part number for the spare tire well. Does anyone have information about this spare tire well of these two different versions? I have taken a look at the spare tire section last night and there is no way that this new quad exhaust can fit in with the same spare tire well. If there is anyone who has 2005 CLK55 Coupe with quad exhaust please take a picture of the rear bottom where there is the spare tire well, and post it up here for some help. Thank you.

I looked into this also it was a couple grand for all the parts and the trunk well is PIA cause you have to re seal it. The spare tire well is a different part. I had a mercedes shop that i work with look up everything and they said its definatley a different part#.

JMHO, but I love the fact that the W209's have the dual exhaust on only one side of the car. It stands out!!!

Everyone has gone to either dual or quad on both sides of the vehicle.

Why add more weight?

I placed an order for all exhaust parts from the middle pipes.
The only part I have to figure out is the spare tire well.
I have asked many many people who have an access to EPC and the parts numbers for 2004 and 2005 CLK55 AMG coupe are identical. So I am confused.
I think the one who did the quad conversion was through Evosport.
Let me know if you find the link.

what I am speculating is that Quad exhaust might use C55 spare tire well as the body structure of both cars are very very simillar to each other. Let me know what you think.

if it was louder (much louder) or increased the hp then ok, but it does neither and weighs a good 30lbs (at least)

Because I just want it to look up to date. and I will be adding Kompressor after that so I can just ignore that 15kg of weight. Also I will loose about 30 pounds while doing all the mods. I need to loose some weight.

looks are more important to some people

to each their own, i look at it as an additional 30lbs that can be taken off to whatever you took off/going to take off already

not stock.
this is cool, but why not go "aftermarket" at the same time... in other words, instead of using the AMG muffflers... go eisenmann or supersprint... etc. just my .02

I don't like eisenmann sound. it is too loud for my taste. Anyways, the work will be performed next monday. I will update the pictures with new true CF 63paddle shift for 55 AMG steering wheel (No modification needed) and a roof spoiler.

The work is getting done at a dealer workshop. Should be over in 2 days or so. Once they finish it, I will post some pictures.
