I love it ... it fills a whole in the Mercedes line up ... a coupe that ISN"T a convertible.

Anybody have any ideas about pricing? $55-65k? This definitely looks like a nice replacement for the CLK500

Also, does anybody have any info about the transmission? Its obvious that it comes with a 6 speed manual, but what about SMG? I read on the bimmer forums that BMW is getting rid of SMG. So, for the M3 is it getting the SMGIII from the M5/M6, is it getting a 6 speed auto Step-tronic, or is there a new transmission for it such as a Dual Clutch? If they put a dual cluth tranny on this car, I don't think it can get much better than this.

Sometimes I wonder about the Concept cars. Does it really have the M3 running gears or is it a 328i underneath

Needless to say.. I think I'm gonna hold on to my CLK55 for a while longer until this thing comes out. The M3's now a proper muscle car too

I love AMGs, but I think the next C63/CLK63 would have to be really really something to compete.

 

Yes that's why i'm saying to myself that it would sure be nice to see pics of under the hood!

I think the rear still looks a bit wimpy... besides that it looks good.
