OK did a search and either I am using the wrong words or it has not been asked (find it hard to believe) but how do I get the cover off the CLK55 air box. I got the front decorative plate off ok but there seems to be now release and I don't want to just start pullin.

Pull straight up.

Ok tried the pull up method, and well looks like it was going to take off the whole thing vs. just the top. I bought some green filters and want to put them in.

You'll need a torx bit to install them. All the screws on the bottom two panels need to be removed to do it.

Ah so pull the whole air box up and off and then I access them from the bottom torx?
