Does anyone have any good resources regarding the stereo system in the COMAND equipped CLKs? I'm picking up my 63 tomorrow and the first thing I'm going to do is put my subwoofer in it.
I just need some research material so I know where to tap into properly.

I would guess that most people use the JL hi-lo converter deal as the system is most fiber optic. They tap it off the sub connect and then add the amp etc. Some aftermarket company really really needs to make an aftermarket Most line of amps. I think they'd make a killing. I thought about it but couldn't find an engineer for the interface work.

If u have the harmon karmen system w/ the sub box between the rear seats....remove rear seats first. Then remove sub box. Then Remove box lid and you have the wires to the sub woofer right there.
I grounded on a bolt under the seat yet ran a fused power wire from the battery down the passenger side to my powered Bazooka tube mounted in the trunk.
