AMG Style V Rims
Hi I'm new to the forums, and I got some question about the AMG rims, can anyone help me?! One of my friend's dad who work in the Mercedes dealer in SoCa, and he told me in year 2003 only limited CLK 55 (W209) were using AMG Style V rims. The reason why he told me that, because I want to get a set of new rims for my CLK, and this is one of his suggestion. Can anyone tell me the above information is true or not??
BTW the CLK 63 Black series is it also using the same rims as I mention? Pls advise+

Welcome to the forum!
Style V's are the 22 spoke AMG wheel. They were an option on many (maybe all?) AMG vehicles in years past. I have them on my SL55.
Style V's are definitely not the standard wheel for the CLK63. Pictures here: http://www.caranddriver.com/autoshow...clk63-amg.html
I doubt that Style V's are even an option any more. Tire Rack still sells them but indicates they are a close-out item.

Hi! Jmf003 thank you for your reply + informations, but I really cant figure out?! The one that I saw on the web that comes with 16 spoke. Anyway pls see the enclosed photos and you will know what I am talking about.

Actually I think CLK 55 & CL 63 r using the same rims, if you see more carefully you will see both of them come with the AMG tag on the rims too.

AMG rims (feeler).
I will have a set of AMG rims for sale in a couple weeks (waiting for my 20 inch). The rims are from 07 E63 (special 5 spokes AMG rims for E63 & CLK63).
Front : 18x8.5 with 245x40x18 ZR Conti Contact Sport.
Rear : 18x9 with 265x35x18 ZR Conti Contact SPort.
I live in Orange County. CA. I prefer local pickup (shipping will be expensive due to the weight > $300.00 or more).
I will have the pictures & prices will set after I get the new 20".
Interest, PM me, I will send out pictures after I take the rims off the car (may be 300 to 400 miles in the tires then). The rims are perfect as It can be.
So far, no curb rash.
