What would you rather have.....a new S550 or ....?
Some people say they get AMG's for the performance when they could get another car with the same or better performance for alot less money (like a new Vette, etc).
Others say they get them because they are exclusive and cost more.....yet, what would you rather have.....a new S550 or a 6 year old CLK AMG, E55, etc I also don't think AMG cars are the high-almighty cars to end the world.

Actually since I'm a single 22yr old college student and not a 50yr old family man I would prefer a W208 AMG to a new S550. It does crack me up how many people defend the AMG badge just because they have the "sport package" on their cars though.

I have a 2001 clk 55 amg and I think is is the best car I have ever had. Fast no problems good gas miles what more could you want and the best part is, as it is the slow one for 7,000$$ I can have about 500 hp. One other thing my car was bought new by Bernie Williams of the NY yankees.
