2001 CLK 320
Windsheild Washer Clogged lines

Aloha MBW , I have a 2001 CLK 320 (w208) and when I try and spray the windsheild it drizzles out a little and now it does not want to spray . The lights still spray . Spoke to parts guy at MB said line need to be blow out. Does anyone had know how to perform this. Help Please.

Make sure that you check the basics..open the hood and check the lines running on the bottom of the hood to the washer nozzles. I have had mine come loose from there. If they are connected there then you will have to check the lines that are coming out of the washer tank itself. There are 2 different lines, ones goes to the winshield and another to the headlights. Ensure that they are not leaking at that connection at all or anywhere for that matter. It seems odd to me that a washer fluid line would get clogged.

True.....what exactly would clog it?

It been my experience that $.99 cheap premixed washer fluid cloggs lines and filters in the ws system.

For decades I have used GM Optikleen concentrate mixed with distilled water with no issues at all.

Thumbs up Trying to unclogged lines

Aloha thank you for the advise. Im going to give it a try and stop using that cheap stuff. Will get back to you to let you know . Doing over the weekend.
