2004 CLK55
looks real tight on 20's. I have seen other pics of CLK's on 20's and they looked like they were too big and the car was jacked up. The amount you lowered looks good. I have 19's on my 05 CLK55 and there doesn't seem like too much extra room without rolling the fender wells. I did not see the tire size posted. Any rubbing?

tire sizes: 225/35/20 front 245/35/20 rear.
rubbing: yes, when going up driveways, the front rubs a little when the steering wheel is turned sharply.

You car looks really beautiful... Love the wheels and the drop... Do have one question for you. Did you notice any performance losses? Any losses in straight line or hwy speeds acceleration? Also, how is the handling compared to stock set up?
Thank you....
Thank you....

thank you for the kind words.
Honestly, I haven't noticed a difference in acceleration from a standstill , or from rolling. I think the handling is stiffer and more responsive, now, that I have the bigger and wider rims....and thinner tires.

SICK! You dont play around when it comes to modding, everything is done nicely
You will ove the KW v.2's I have them on my W208 CLK55 and they are GREAT! Only downside in my opinion is that the rear doesnt go that low (mine is all the way down and still not as low as I want it) and you have to take the spring out to adjust ride height. Being able to adjust ampening is the best part. I always ride around on full stiff but if I want to take a girl somewhere I just soften it up a little bit and it rides smooooooth. Only takes about 5 minutes too!

I actually just had my rear barrels changed out late last night to get another 1/2" worth of lip. Now, the rears are perfectly flush with the fenders. Looks crazy. I'll take some pics hopefully later today or tomorrow and post them up!

by the way, are they heavy? Also, if you don't mind sharing, how much did that set up cost you? (wheels and tires)
thank you...

Im pretty sure these are quality wheels, forgot who asked...any type of forged modular wheel is quality.
Very nice Opal-do you have any high-res pics of that yellow Cayman you can send me? It's hard to find one that has a Techart kit or front bumper like that one does..thanks

Yes I have. I went to Summit Point with Ferrari of Washington. Unfortunately at the time I didnt have track wheels to fit over my BBK so I tracked the car with the DPE's on. The car performed VERY well. I highly recommend the suspension
