Supersprint Muffler for W208 '55

What do you guys think?

http://www.supersprintna.com/product...arch_model/211

It seems decent? It's all Stainless too...

Has anyone installed this on a 208 55 or even a 209 55?

I honestly find the Eisenmann Race to be a bit too rumbly/loud for the 55. I'd like to sound more like a '63 (raspier?)

Thanks for any suggestions!

Go with the Supersprint if you want that more metallic type sound. I got my sound mostly from the cat delete. I was low and rumbly before that. Not to mention the headers just amplified it that much more!!

03 CLK 55 AMG, IMCO muffler/Magnaflow tips, KW V1 coilovers, 19" Petrol Metrix Wheels
if i were you i would just have a nice magnaflow muffler and some stainless or chroms tips installed. the amg exhaust is a 3" inch mandrel bent exhaust from the factory. you are not going to get much better than that. if you have a good exhaust shop close they will weld on the muffler and tips in four to five hours. cost me about $800 here in northern NV. Magnaflow will give you the euro sound you are looking for.

when you say metallic, is that M3type sound, raspy? i HATE that sound lol
i'd rather have something low rumble, smooth, not raspy at all

i heard good things about Magnaflow 44 muffler on euro v8's, heard a lot of Supersprints but didn't really like their sound, they sound good in high reving engines though, formula one type sound.
