Dodge Challenger in 2008
The new 2008 Dodge Challenger is a fine looking ride. My hope is this will be offered with a stick, so the CLK won't compete directly in the same market.
This vehicle looks like lots of fun. The demographic of owners, with prior muscle cars, looking for a new ride with performance will consider this vehicle.
This is on my list for my next car.

2002 CLK 55 AMG Coupé
The original Challenger caught the tail end of the muscle car wave. It pitched classic, clean styling, upscale luxury (leather ...) along iwth top end performance (440 six pack, hemi ...). A bit like a 208 CLK AMG. But unlike the 208 it was not very popular.
This new Challenger looks too derivative to turn me on. But drop that SRT8 Hemi on board and I'll hang on for the ride!

I saw it online a few days ago, called a dealership but they never answered. I read that itll first be offered with the powerful SRT engine for about 38k in march 08 then they'll introduce two smaller engines.
I just bought an ML63 a few weeks ago so im broke but i really hope that by march 08 ill have enough money to get one and import it to Switzerland.

Good Challenger info HERE and HERE...
I was all about it at first but right now it doesn't look like the manual tranny or 6.4 motor won't be ready until the second model year. Expect lots of price gouging... The 6.1 (current SRT motor) is no slouch with 420+ HP/420+ Torque in current form.
They're gonna be white hot, but I love me the new Viper...
