Pics!
I decided to go with a Dual setup and make it look like the DTM exhaust. I still need to install the spoiler at the bottom to make it look nice and clean. It sounds amazing did a magnaflow muffler and some stainless tips. Its very close to an eisenmann race exhaust sound wise. These pictures dont do it justice..... As for the part number for the spoiler at the bottom it is 209.885.40 25
Enjoy!

Double Dual vs. Quad
I really don't care. if you want me to refer to it as quad, that's fine. Quad just usually refers to somethign that comes in a group of 4 like a quad ski lift. Though it's rare, I've seen a true quad exhaust before where there's actually 4 tips all in a row centered at at the bumper. Dual would be one on each side. Double dual would be 2 on each side. But let's drop it. I'll call it quad if you all are used to calling it that and know what it's referring to.
Yo, you with the bootie in your avatar is making me not able to read these threads as easily at work. hahaha.
Let's see some "quad" exhaust photos!

check out the non-amg w209 thread, a user there, nj500, has a magnaflow daul set up too. i'm sure it would sound even better on a clk55. the topic is called "Dual Exhahust Video.... ". should give you an idea of how it will sound

The other guys dual exhaust set up ran him $1,300. And to tell you guys the truth, I would go with Clk 22's set up any day! Why?..because the way that shop did his pipes it looks Really clean. I was there and seen everything done not to mention, it only ran him $500! I dont think anyone could beat that price.

Glad you all like it. Well the exhaust only cost $500 + the spoiler for the rear bumper which was 160.
RLEE i dont have a factory resonator.
I dont have any pictures of under the car yet ill take some tomorrow and some after when the spoiler is on.
The muffler is a magnaflow camaro muffler and i dont know what brand the tips are.

i think that makes CLK's look much better. seems wierd that they give a C55 quad pipes, but not the clk55..........from what i understand its one muffler with an extension to the other exhuast pipe right? that price includes the whole setup and install?

Though you should loose the center divider/diffuser piece the tips have too much gap between the cut-outs & the CLK DTM doesn't have that part, just full cutt-out would look awesome

Thanks for the compliments. Well worth the money spent. The sound is really incredible.
The magnflow muffler is designed for a camaro. It has a 3" inlet and 2 1/2" outlet on oneside and then on the other side it has a 2 1/2" outlet. So it is a real dual set up its not an extension from one side like some others have done. There are no modifications to the car besides cutting the rear bumper which i did myself with an airsaw. It is completely wrapped around the tub and its routed perfectly to where the second exhaust tip would be.
