Adding a CD Changer question
I'm looking to buy a 2004 CPO CLK55 Cabriolet. It is stripped and has no CD player (Standard cassette radio and no changer). Is it a big deal to add in a CD changer myself (DIY job)? I see them on ebay for about $200 (Rather than pay the dealer retail) and wondered how easiy it is to remove the dash and make the connections.

you car already comes prewired for the cd changer. There is no need to remove the dash and "make the connections." It's basically a plug and play. The only thing you want to make sure that you purchase, along with the CD changer and cartridge, is the mounting bracket, which you will need to mount the changer. You will also need 3-4 screws.
