I'm curious to know your opinion on this one...what if I make my car look like an S63/S65 with the newest body kit, led lights but I take my badges off...

People will wonder what car this is..will this be posing?

the s65/s63 looks great! i DONT feel that u would be be "posing" if u had the body kit with NO emblems. again u wouldnt have an AMG badge in the back misleading people. they would just be curios as to exactly what kind of s class it was.nice car though

Pretty good ASSumption there. The AMG badges on my car are those cast into the wheels and stamped into exhaust tips. Threatened? Better call MBUSA to lodge a formal complaint. I bought the CLS500 over the 55 b/c I'm a child that would be in jail with almost 500hp. For kicks, I ride an austrian dirt bike where I can throttle jockey to my heart's content without tickets. Driving is nice. Riding is better.

I'm enjoying poking those with fragile egos.

Anyone that uses these to police others has an extremely fragile ego. It's one thing to have an opinion. It's another to actively make sure people are policed, so that their actions might be "corrected". Those that do this need to get a life.

If they really want to be unique, buy a freakin' Ferrari Enzo or Veyron. I'm pretty sure that no badge could make any other car be confused with one.

again their egos arent hurt and I doubt they are were actually going to do any policing. I dont know about ferraris and enzo's but they do have kits to make your pontiac fierro a lambo. Putting a badge for looks isnt any different. They went out their way to make their vehicle what its not. All show and no go. This is why they are "posers"

Walk into a Ferrari dealer and ask to buy badge. I know what they'll tell you. A neighbor built a Fiero F40 and they told him to pound sand without a current registration of a real Ferrari (as they should). MBZ dealers on the other hand will sell an AMG badge to anyone with the money. Maybe you guys should petition MBZ USA to do the same. It's their brand afterall. You'd think that they'd care.

I'm not saying they are not posers. I am saying that anyone that takes it to the level of leaving a pre-made note on a posers car has an extremely fragile ego and needs to get a life IMHO. It's brave IMHO to touch anyone's car. Never know when you might encounter someone that has no issued knocking your teeth down your throat for something that simple.

True head turner, rare and hard to find. You MIGHT see another CLK 430 in black, but most likely it won't be the coveted AMG. Black on Black classic Mercedes styling, corners like a dream, more power than you will know what to do with. Excellent driving conditoin, maintained regularly, 101000 miles. New brakes as of July of this year, brand new tires as of Aug of this year. Get ready for haters to come out of the woodwork....this car looks like one you dropped $150,000 on.

We just purchased a 2012 c63 AMG and we use to own a sport package e350 that has AMG badging on the rims. I did not realize how overwhelming this issue regarding fake AMG's until my wife came home - who is by no means an enhusiast but do love cars - she started telling me over dinner about a mercedes car on the freeway that has the AMG badge but has small tail pipes and was not growling. She asked me if they were real AMG cars, I just said probably not. Honestly, I'm okey with posers if it makes them feel good and does it because they can't afford an AMG but loves the brand. As long as I know car lovers and enthusiasts can tell the difference it's all good.
