Newbie question - Carlsson CM60RS body kit

Hello,
I am in the market for a Carlsson W208 CM60 RS kit. I need advice on key characteristics between an authentic and replica kit. Does the authentic kit have features that the replicas do not? For example, is there a unique ID plate or number or is there special slider brackets.
If anyone knows about it, please let me know.
Thanks!!!

I could be wrong about this...but I would think that the legitimate kit would not be made of fiberglass. (most likely polyurathane or abs plastic). Another thing to look for is the rear diffuser. It's not difinitive, but just about all of the replica kits I've seen are missing the rear diffuser.

Also, the real kit should fit perfectly without much hassle...

Good luck in trying to find one!

Actually the real kits took a fair amount of work to fit properly especially around the headlights.
We also reworked the diffuser on mine...faring and reinforcement.
The originals have the Carlsson badge and part number cast in.
I have never seen a copy but I have been told that the quality s**ks.
Originals are fiberglass and kevlar.
