I am a Seiko fan and my daily piece is a titanium case and bracelet seiko chrono. like this one. Ultra light and comfortable, plus indestructable.

That's a rare one - euro model I guess? I like the R107s - and i see them on craigslist from time to time for very little money... *tempting*
just so we are not too OT...
I am soo in love with this watch - Alpha Omega has it and they are going out of business so they're offering it at 40% off, which I thought was good until I found out that an amazon seller has it at 52% off...
and usually im not crazy about Bvlgaris

If I found one in perfect shape, I would buy the grey market R107 300SL with a 5 spd. manual. I used to work on one and man what a driver's car it was, a totally different car experience from our U.S. market 560SL.

Mine is a 450SL, Pete had said that his dad was looking at a 420SL but I believe it's a typo, maybe a 420SEL. I know a guy who installed a 420SEL engine in his 380SL effectively making a 420SL, but I doubt that's what he's referring to. There is a european market R107 420SL among all the other variants, so maybe that one too.

the prices alpha omega are giving isnt anything special... I got those walking in off the street before the bankruptcy sale. they arent even giving 15% off rolex... not worth it imho

Nice....I'm always hesitant about super-unique watch bands (I've got an 80s Omega Constellation dress watch that has a unique croc band that only Omega carries - $200 bucks - more than the thing is worth!)
