it doesn't need to be re-programmed from what my dealer tells me. The mileage is stored in the vehicle's CPU memory. The cluster is merely a user interface that displays what is stored/processed by the CPU. As long as the connections are the same it should just be plug and play.

Hmmmmm........not true based on my CL55 cluster/odometer ($6500 just part) went out. The mileages needed to be reprogram. The dealer has to do it twice on mine car. The first time, the mileages were wrong (20K less mileages).

Well... I had originally listed it for $500, and the cost brand new from the dealer is around $8-900. I believe the lowest offer I received was ~$250 and the buyer wanted me to pay for shipping across the Atlantic Ocean which would have costed me ~$100
