I know, kinda lame for this board, but I have a question:

I've got a CLK55: are both front floormats supposed to say "AMG"? I bought it used, and the dealer "misplaced" 3 of the 4 when I picked it up, so he just shipped me the rest, and the passenger one doesn't say "AMG."

I'm about to blast the guy, but I want to make sure I've got my facts straight. I'm trying NOT to be a ditzy blonde...

I would say yes it should be on both...not 100% sure but my friends previous SL and E have it on both.

i just bought a new set of floor mats from dealer about 6 months ago both fronts say CLK55 AMG. cost $90 for the set of 4.

Thanks for the input: that's what I figured, but I wanted to check with the "experts" first.

I called my local dealer: he didn't have any in stock but he also said he was pretty sure they should both say it.

FWIW, the place I bought the car is Forman Motorsport in Phoenix, AZ. The car wasn't quite as "immaculate" as they described it (including needing $3000 in brake repairs), although I got it for less than they were going for out here. Just a heads-up if anyone is looking at their inventory...
