Help! 2001 CLK 55 phone
I just bought a 2001 CLK 55 with the K2a package with the voice activiated phone (the Timeport Startac). Has anyone been able to successfully (and cheaply) swap out the phone to a more recent model? I also have the COMAND system if that makes a difference. Your help is much appreciated.

There is a publications section and in that section is an article published on 9/20/02 titled "Don`t want to use MB`s proprietary phone ?" which detailed installing a phone in a CLK this may help.
I could not access the article so you will need to e-mail frank to get it.
