Sidelight bulb DEAD
Ok i will keep it brief
1. i installed xenons
2. sidelight bulbs working ok but i removed them and fitted aftermarket bulbs. The LEFT side bulb stayed on constantly (even with lights off, i didnt test the RIGHT side with these bulbs.) i removed the bulb and tried my ORIGINAL bulbs i removed. LEFT side of car it worked but stayed on CONSTANTLY.
3. I drive about without any sidelight bulbs in for few days.
4. My new bright white LED sidelight bulbs come from ebay with resistors to rule out dash malfunction. Fit my RIGHT side bulb. WORKS OK. Fit my LEFT side. Doesnt work AT ALL, it flickered a few times then DEAD. Once again i tried the original bulb in LEFT side doesnt work at all. The new bulb that flickered then died on the LEFT side is tested working OK on the right side so its not the bulb.
5. i removed LEFT side xenon kit and tested sidelight bulb again NOTHING not a thing. So its not the xenons its not the
I then hard wired the sidelight bulb DIRECTLY to the big plug going into the headlight to rule out wiring coming loose inside the headlight. and NOTHING.
Im baffled, its been 2 weeks now and i cant locate the problem. Dont wana pay stupid garages prices just to get a sidelight bulb working. Found out there is not fuse for these sidelight bulbs? Unless im wrong?
