i just found them looking through ebay. question for everyone, why doesnt a bodykit company just get a set of front fenders make a mold and start stamping out high quality reps? is it really that expensive to do?

Yes it is. It can cost up to $30K per piece to create a mold. This includes draft, design, stamping, and manufacturing. A lot of people involved. There must be a great demand and market before going into production. Its all about investment and return on investment.
