The SRT owner mentioned in the original post sounds like an idiot, but it's not wise to dismiss these cars as easy kills or you'll probably end up embarrassed.
I didn't say it was an easy kill. I'm sure it would kick my @ss. I said it is a Neon.

I've done all these mods and these kind of gains can be seen at the wheels.
so youre saying just put it in and it will give you that increase? without a tune for 100oct?

It's still a Neon... and you could still lose. We're talking about drag racing here and heated leather seats, sat nav, blue tooth phone, etc. don't matter in a drag race. Yes, it may still be a Neon but that doesn't really matter when the point is to get down a 1/4 mile. Now for picking up women or enjoying a comfortable trip on the Autobahn at high speeds, then the fact that it is just a Neon may make a difference in comparison to a Benz. If you bought this car for drag racing, you bought the wrong car.

Disclaimer: The referenced kid in the first post sounds like an idiot, so I'm not suggesting that his car is faster than a CLK55. I'm only stating that assuming the car is slow based solely on the fact that it is a Neon or any other compact/import car is foolish.

DOnt understimate those little ****ers, i've had 1 or 2 encounters with hooked up neons that i've only been able to pull about 1 car on them. Meaning they can be really fast from a roll when heavily modded. I say race him from a dig you'll take him for sure but that kid sounds like he is talkin out of his *** anyway so from a roll you should take him easy
