Considering average miles are 12,500 per year, this car is over by 15,000 miles. The average is based on daily commuting which is already a low estimate but fair one. NADA and KBB only deduct about $500 from the average price of this vehicle due to the miles. Factor in the options and color and I would say it's a fair price. Plus, with the mileage deduction it is still priced about $3000 to $4000 below average. I never understood why someone would chime in with a comment like yours knowing that it might scare off a potential buyer.
I respect your freedom to voice an opinion but sometimes it might give others the wrong impression. Thanks for wishing me good luck at least.

Good luck with the sale.

The new price of $21800 will include transport to any out of state buyer. I also allow any 3rd party inspectors so feel free to contact me for a physical address on where the vehicle is located. Thanks for looking.

I might be interested, but I have some questions.

Why was the front bumper resprayed? How has it been maintained (at or above MB standards)? Who has done the maintainence? Have the transmission, rear end, coolant, brake system fluids ever been changed? Do you have records? And what type of driving do you do (hwy / city)?

Lots of questions, I know, but proper maintainance really starts to pay off at 60,000 miles and later (when the warranty is gone).

Thanks for your reply.

I have some answers! Sorry for the late reply.

Since I am not the original owner I don't know for sure. I am an autobroker. Bumper is original and no other panels where replaced so I assume touch up do to scrapes and rock chips.

It is a one owner car with no alerts of a or b maintenance due. Take that for what it's worth.

You can also call your local MB dealer with the vin and ask for in shop records(MB service)history. Some dealers will help and others will give you the run around. I feel it's best the potential buyer look it up so they don't have to take my word on it.

Thanks for getting back to me. I assumed it was your personal car, hence the questions.

The idea was to keep it but I came across another SL55 that I'm going to keep so I must sell this baby. I have only put about 400 miles since purchase.

Sorry for the late response. Here are some more pics of the car. The miles are currently 66,650. The price is the same at $21,800 but that includes transport to any state. Thanks for looking and let me know.

Final price drop, $21,000. If I can't sell at this price then I'm keeping it.

Owner must have changed his mind, I have called , E-mailed and posted.
No reply on any front. I even had my wife talked into the CLK.

I'll just have to keep looking for an unusual vehicle.
