missing car
He called the dealership on or about Jan 15th ,2003, to find out the status of car.
He was told by Owen "it vanished from the radar"
The sales manager reiterated this claim.
The salesman then offered to sell my friend a used SL500 for $61.900
He declined the offer.
Can someone give me an explanation for the vanished vehicle?
A- They never ordered it
B- The dealer traded there slot for a more expensive unit
C- They sold the car before it arrived for more money
D- They cannot locate the documentation
E- They do not have allocation (Can’t order the car)
F- They dealer traded it
G- Somebody screwed up!
No matter what happened he’s lost all that time. He could contact the manager and ask for a better deal on another car.
Or get on the Internet and locate a car near by. There’s really not much he can do about it. If he gave them a deposit they have to return it.
Best of luck to him,
Tim
Unfortunately production of the W209 CLK320s has been excruciatingly slow. We have several ordered. Keep the managers feet to the fire or speak with someone at MBUSA. Finding a replacement car will be very difficult since very few have been produced. We have delivered more SL55s in the last 4 months than CLKs!
As a salesperson it is always embarrassing to hear of someone treated poorly. There is no excuse, someone F***d up!
