Has anybody posted a DIY for hardwiring a V1 radar detector???
Greetings to all. I just picked up CLK63BS. I lasted almost 1 full hour before getting my first speeding ticket! 
Anyhow, I want to hardwire my V1. On my E55 I had a tough time tapping into a fuse slot that is keyed to the ignition. I know some have pulled power from the lighting module at the top of the windshield.
Just curious if any DIY'ers have posted directions for pulling power to drive the V1. Thanks in advance for any writeups!
