K-Mac Camber and Caster Kit

I am ready to order a K-Mac camber and caster kit (front and rear) for my 2001 CLK 55 but can't get them to respond to my email attempts. Their website: http://www.k-mac.com lists sales@k-mac.com but no one responds. I am not eager to call Australia. Anyone have any suggestions?

Also, they have three kits for my car:
  1. Street/Semi-Race (Front is $370 and Rear $320)
  2. Street/Race (Front is $465 and Rear $465)
  3. Full Race (Front is $465 and Rear $465)
Anyone purchased these and how difficult (time) are these to install? Thanks in advance.

I would get speedybnz's camber arms! They're GREAT! Fully adjustable and easy to install

AMS Performance,

Thanks for the tip. I am trying to call them now but keep getting voice messages as well. Hopefully they carry the fronts as well since this is a $40 savings from the manufactor price.

da_guitarist,

I have considered speedybnz's camber arms and even emailed him but I believe he only offers his product for the rear of the car and not the front. If that is true, I will probably go with a system that offers both the front and the rear. Please let me know if he offers both?

i know lensolo makes great rear arms. not sure if he makes fronts.

but, you might want to note that MB sells camber eccentric bolts for the front for like 40 bucks, not as much adjustment, but even on my car (lowered on H&r's), not much camber needs to be adjusted up front imo.

hhseouljah,

Thanks. I will admit I have not aligned the car at the MB Dealer (I did it though another shop) after I installed the 19" rims and lowered the car with H&R springs. I do know however that the car as set-up tends to eat the insides of the tires.

Maybe I will purchase and install the K-Mac kit for the rear first and align the car using the bolts for the front and see how close it is before I purchase the K-Mac kit for the front.

You can just buy 4 longer MB camber bolts from the dealership for the front! 2 for each side! The front is factory adjustable

Ah, I see that was already mentioned. BUT...I hear the K-mac is tough to install and not 100% adjustable. These arms are pretty slick and fully/easily adjustable; also very high quality (speedybenz). Very easy to install as well. I'm sure lensolo's arms are the same. I can't speak to their quality tho b/c I haven't used them.

Febi Bilstein Eccentric Bolt Kit

da_guitarist,

Well I just purchased the K-Mac kit for the rear at $289.00. I believe that BlackBenz recommended them as he felt they were the most adjustable- but I can't say until I actually have them installed.

As for the front, I located the following:
Febi Bilstein Eccentric Bolt Kit
2001-2002 Mercedes Benz CLK55 AMG
Fits: Mounts lower control arm to subframe. 4 per car..
Cost is $13.00
Website:

Do you believe this is the right part for the front?

I believe that's the bolt you need....might want to call and be sure but it sounds like what I have in mine. Good luck! Let us know how the K-mac works out. install cost would be nice to know if you don't do it yourself
