If you plan to remove Comand APS....
A funny piece of behaviour I found in my car - as a caution. Is that if you remove your comand APS head unit to replace it (I installed a Kenwood 8X20) then remember to visit Merc or a qualified mechanic with the STAR system so that they can reprogram the car to NOT THINK it has a Satelite Navigation head unit.
Otherwise- the funny thing I found is that you cant set the clock ! The AV installers disconnected the battery to fit the new amplifier leads - and the clock is off by the amount of time the battery was disconnected. There is no way to set the clock now. The car needs to be re-set to having the basic head unit, and then you regain clock set control in the interface![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Just a word of caution for you guys doing AV mods.
