Are the front and rear bumpers on a CLK55 AMG different from stock?

I have a friend that is getting a lorinser kit for his CLK55 AMG. He will give me the stock pieces if I want them. Are they worth anything to sell. I dont need to take them just to gather dust in my garage. I have a 1999 C230K, so nothing will help me.

Please let me know

Gary

430 and 55 have the same kits (USA at least). 320 has a different kit.

What about the rear? Is the cutout for the exhaust larger for the CLK 55 since it has a dual exhaust?

They are exactly the same. The 55 has two pipes, but they aren't as big as the single 430 pipe.

The AMG body kit (which is only standard on the CLK55 in Europe, but is standard on the 430 and 55 in USA) consists of a new front bumber, rear bumper and sill covers (the bits down the sides). The other part that is different is the fog lights, and they are expensive (so if he is changing his fog lights for his new bumper , gratefully accept his old ones).

The AMG bits are an expensive option here in Europe, and can be ordered on any CLK if you want to pay for them !

Id put them on your car, consider buying the side parts, and thank him profusely. Alternatively accept them gratefully and auction them on Ebay

No, the CLK430 and CLK55 have identical rear bumpers and exhaust cutouts.
