few questions
I think it maybe a good idea to have a sticky thread of parts that can and can not be swapped from one MB to another (unless this already exsists and I missed it
) As most of you know quite a few of MB's parts can work on various other MBs with little or no moddifaction. I myself am in search of "decently" priced shocks/struts for my 209, I know alot of parts are shared or can be subsituted with 203 parts which are alot more common and easier to come by. If anyone knows if this is true please let me know, if so do I need shocks/struts from a C55? Do 208 shocks/struts work? I hope I am not the only one who would find a thread like this helpful
I can talk BMW parts crossing all day long, but it seems info is a little harder to find for MB's. I am also looking for a 209/203 55 engine cover/airboxes if anyone can help with that

aparrently they are interchangable, I will post up after I install them, this was the reason I wanted a thread like this, how many times hav eyou been looking for a part for your car and found nothing? Yet alot of OEM and aftermarket parts from other MB's will work and are easier to find/cheaper
