Looking to pick up an 02 CLK55 Cabrio
Want to get a concensus from all of you on the mods that I'm thinking of right out of the box.
I have my eye on a few examples and plan to pull the trigger soon. Would immediately do the following.
1. Suspension - Springs to lower the car a bit. WOuld love to hear suggestions and opinions from those of you who have done this.
2. Wheels - Pick up a set of 18's for the car. Have found some nice replica AMG style wheels on a number of sites and will use the OEM 17's for dedicated snows as I live here in the NYC area.
3. Double DIN Nav head unit - something that has bluetooth functionality and modern navigation. Especially if the one I pick up doesn't have nav from the factory.
4. Radar and Laser equipment - I always install this in my cars...just an extra layer of protection.
Want your thoughts mostly on the suspension and wheel set up as that will be critical to the overall behavior and useability of the car.
