just saw what i think is a fake clk55

The reason i think it fake is because it didn't have quad exhaust it had 1 double on the drivers side. am i right or wrong?

only 05+ up will have the quad....03 and 04 will have on one side (double tips)....I am assuming that you are talking about W209.

yep, i went side by side of him in my C63( just looking for a friendly wave) but he just looked straight ahead. Old guy looked to be in his 60s

Sorry but you're highly mistaken. What you saw was a CLK 55 AMG more than likely an 04. The 2004 & 5's have dual exhaust on the drivers side.
