These are the wheels I am looking to put on my '01 CLK55 but I think they are too large to fit without any adjustments. Can you guys help clarify? Will these go on with no mods (ie. do NOT require fender roll, etc). I know the offset is wrong but I think spacers can be used, right? The bolt pattern is correct @112. These are on eBay for the next day at no reserve (currently a little over $2K). Thanks in advance for your advice. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33748

I was not sure either when I upgraded my wheels, that's why I stuck with 18" - those rims are nice, but for the money I think you can do better on Tire rack - deeper lip and wider would provide better handling and a more aggressive look - Just my two cents

I've gotten my direction from the wheels&tire forum on this site. Based on that input, the lugs aren't the correct size (14mm vs. the correct 12mm) and the tires are simply a little too wide. Also from the other posts, it apears that my fenders may already be "rolled" from the factory (Since it's a CLK55). As I stated initially, I don't want to "force" anything onto my car so I will simply keep looking for the 18's. Thanks for the replies guys!

I had those rims on CLK before... you need to roll out your fenders and buy a 15mm spacer kit from H&R. It will fit then, but it wont fit if you dont buy the spacers. Hope this helps, bought mine from www.optauto.com
I just swapped them for the one piece CL rims, 19"
