Motor mounts

Just received my mounts and should be changing them once the weather permits. Should the left and right side mounts be any different?

Where did you purchase them? I need to replace the engine and transmission mounts and my dealer is quoting almost $2k for this service.

2k for motor mounts! thats mad.. there around $150 a piece..

u can even get them off ebay, but i would get them directly from mercedes..

i had mine replaced under warranty so i dont know how much the labor should be.. probably 2hrs

autohausaz.com as referred by others in this forum. All three for under $150 shipped! Indy shops around here charge 2-3 hours for the install @$80/hr. There is valuable info elsewhere on this site if you wanna DIY.

i bought the mounts for about $!00 for a pair on here and got them installed at the dealer for $200 buddy works there so he just did them

Holy cow! So my dealer is totally trying to rape me huh? So anybody know of a reputable service shop I can use in the Los Angeles area?

fuuuuu, from $2K to ~$150 + labor fees..... WOW.
