tire size for w209 possible?

hey I was going to get some tires for my car and I was going to one of those wide looks from the back where it makes the car look like its stuck to the ground without using spacers. I have had friends brake spacers on their cars and it wasn't too good.

so I was looking at a 245/40/18 front and 275/35/18 rear setup I currently am running 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 with 8.5j and 9.5j
so what do you guys think and what would you recommend?

Hi Hami.

If using the correct spacers you shouldn't be breaking them! What's up with that!?

I think your tyre combination should be Ok. You might want bigger wheels later once you lower your car. 235 front 265 rear on 19's is what I run and seems to be the norm. Also depending on which tyre manufacturer you pick even though the tyre might say 265 it has a bigger tread pattern. Ask some of them as to how wide the actual tyre tread print is.

Yea we don't really have the best of roads I had friends break rims and bend them too. Well I was just wondering if 275 would rub in the back I do not want any rubbing problems and I just want to install them without doing any extra work to have them fit.
Has anyone run this setup before?
