Widest 18" tires on Forgestar wheels for W208 CLK55?

Widest 18" tires on Forgestar wheels for W208 CLK55?
been reading lots on this forum an others about maximum tire sizes, but was wondering if anyone had tried 245/35/18 fronts and 265/35/18 rears?
car is currently on stock 17" AMG wheels with 225/45/17 fronts and 255/40/17 rears.
will be putting the new tires on Forgestar F14 18x8.5, 18x9.5 wheels. don't know offset, Forgestar doesn't put them on the wheels, but they were custom ordered for my car.
I'm 90% sure the rears will fit, as the curent tires leave lots of room, but a little worried the fronts might be too wide (even though total diameter will be slightly smaller).
