CLK 55 LHD to RHD conversion
I live in the US and drive a CLK 55. I am moving back to Australia at the end of the year and would like to take the car back with me if I can find someone who can convert the car to RHD.
Does anyone know of anyone in oz that could do this (preferably Qld) or have an opinion on whether or not it may be more hassle than its worth.

I don't know much about the land of Oz, but unless importing your own CLK avoids big tarifs on the ones already there, I would say don't even think about it. Sure RHD parts exist, but sourcing and installing them? It would be nightmare. And if you manage all that, you are left with a bunch of LHD parts that nobody down under wants.

You could try corvette Queensland....
though maybe you're better off selling the car and just getting something new in Australia.

They're 2 hours north of Brisbane. In Gympie.
Lucky you for going home.. I wish I was.
