How can I tell if certain wheels can clear the AMG brakes?

How can I tell if certain wheels can clear the AMG brakes?
The wheels in question used to fit on a w202 c class with standard brakes. How can I tell if these wheels will fit on a 2005 CLK55 by eye/measurement?

btw, I know that these wheels wouldn't clear w203 c32 brakes when on a w202.

I think the only way to know for sure is a test fit.
