CLK55 AMG Supercharger???
Hello MBWorld Members,
This is my first visit and post to the site since Feb 17 2008. In the meantime I bought myself a 2006 CLK55 AMG. I have had the vehicle for about a year now and it runs great thanks in part due to the after market warranty that I have which saved me big $$$ on a few occasions. Anyhow getting to the point, I am looking for the best kompressor solution in terms of performance to price ratio.
I know there are a lot of very knowledgeable people on this site who can point me to the right direction.

I'd start with the OEM unit that is installed on the Euro / UK "street" DTM models.
Anything you do will be expensive...look to spend $12K-$15K to do it right

Look for a used Kleemann (Autorotor) supercharger. They don't produce them anymore so you can't get them new (they are now using Eaton superchargers). Although the Eaton would be my second choice if you aren't able to find a nice used Autorotor.
