Anyone try Michelin Pilot Sport A/S (all season) tires?
Folks,
My CLK55 (W208) needs new tires at 30K miles. Believe it or not I still have the original Pilot Sports on it. I am down to the wear-bars now.
I have had two sets of the A/S model on an older Volvo and they ran well. I want to see if anyone has used them on an AMG-class car.
What I am after is more confidence if it gets cold out, or snows lightly when I am out with the car. Also, increased tread life would be nice as well.
If I can't get any feedback on these A/S models, I will be inclined to either get the same OEM model of PS or go for the PS2's.
Thanks.

My CLK came with the Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires, they are 'alright' in my opinion. Not super sticky like a max performance summer ofcourse, but pretty good for A/S.

I have had both the PS2s and the A/S...don't get the A/S. You will be very disappointed with how they handle. If it snows, leave your car home. The A/S give a very limited edge on snowy days. I believe that there is a thread somewhere that MB actually says not to use them on the 208.
