I've had a couple of people ask me to post some more pictures of the 3M 1080 gloss carbon fiber finish, so here is a white Lexus IS350 sedan that I vinyl wrapped the roof with in that material. Also note, the roof spoiler is a real carbon piece, so this will also help give those an idea of how the vinyl material compares/contrast against real carbon. The owner of this car drove out to me in Anaheim Hills / Orange County to get the work done. We went with the 3M 1080 gloss carbon fiber vinyl finish over the 3M di-noc matte carbon fiber finish to closer match real cf and go with his roof spoiler better.

People usually ask me if they should go with gloss black or matte black for the window trim on their black cars, so here is an example of matte black on this brand new BMW F10 sapphire metallic 5 series sedan. With the black wheels on the car, it made the chrome window trim stand out even more. So you can see the differences of the before and after are quite drastic, even for such a small detail. The owner of this car was also around/from Orange County and drove out to my shop in Anaheim Hills. I liked the end results and how this car turned out with the black vinyl trim.

Tinted / smoked the center clear portion of the tail lights on this brand new white Mercedes E350 sedan. In addition to tinting the tail lights with my light film material, I also wrapped the trunk spoiler in the 3M 1080 gloss carbon fiber material and blacked out the chrome trunk handle with my matte black vinyl material. Overall, the light shade of tint was a nice slight change in the look of the car, without making it too dark and is still visible during the day/night.
Most spoilers aren't practical to wrap, but this one happen to work out.

I thought I had taken more pictures of this car, but three is all I have I suppose. This is a car that I did for Hyundai for last year's SEMA, just to give you an idea of how some old some of my pictures can be or take before getting uploaded. They wanted to do a real carbon roof, but did not have enough time to do it before SEMA, so having me vinyl wrap it with the 3M dinoc matte carbon fiber vinyl material was the next alternative. I wrapped both the painted and glass part that's on the Veloster.

I have had a lot of people ask me how vinyl looks when covered over damaged paint or paint with clear coat failure. Here is the best example I could find at the moment in my picture data base. The owner of this blue Honda Civic coupe had me vinyl wrap the roof of their car with my gloss black vinyl material. As you can see in the before pictures, you can see that basically the entire roof was having clear coat failure. It is somewhat hard to see in the after pictures versus how it looks like in person. However, in one of the pictures I put a red box around the area that you can see how the uneveness resulting from the clear coat failure does show through the vinyl a bit still. Even though this is not a perfect solution to peeling/failing paint, it is still better than what was there before and will prevent further paint damage from the sun, etc.

For this car, I blacked out the chrome brushed aluminum window trim on the car with my black vinyl material and also lightly tinted / smoked the tail lights for this black Mercedes Benz C300 sedan. The owner of this car drove out to me in Orange County / Anaheim Hills to get the vinyl work done. We decided to go with the matte black finish to give the car some contrast still, over the gloss black vinyl finish for the window trim. Also, for the tail lights, we also went with the clear portion cut out to give it a little bit more of a contrast as well.

The owner of this black VW Passat drove out to me in Orange County / Anaheim Hills from Los Angeles county to get some vinyl work done. He wanted me to black out the chrome / brushed aluminum around his windows and to also lightly tint his tail lights. The pictures may seem over exposed in some of them, but I did that on purpose, as to capture how the tail lights looked at those exact moments and in those lighting conditions. For the window trim, we went with my matte black vinyl material.

I know this isn't for most people, but the owner of this silver Nissan 350z approached me with the idea of wrapping basically the top half of his car in the 1080 3M gloss carbon fiber vinyl material. It's definitely going to be different from just getting the roof top wrapped and that's what the owner of this car wanted. I tried to take multiple pictures of the car from various angles to show how the weave and pattern looks like in different lighting/angles. I've seen this done with cars in different colors (such as black, etc), but not with carbon before. I also tinted his head lights and tail lights, but these pictures are a bit old, and it was of a darker shade that I no longer use. The owner of this car had me vinyl wrap the chrome / brushed aluminum trim on his car with my matte black vinyl material. I believe he originally was going to have me tint his lights as well, but he went ahead and had them painted instead before I made my trip up there. Unfortunately, he got pulled over the the tails being too dark. The advantage of vinyl in this case would have been that it would have been easy to reverse/pull off the tint film material and go back to stock if needed.
I didn't take any before pictures, as I didn't have much time between cars, so I only took pictures of the after results.

For this white Lexus IS250, the owner wanted to have me black out the roof of his car with my gloss black vinyl material. We went with the gloss black to give it that panoramic/glass look. The gloss black roof went well with the other black pieces that were on the car (black inserts/accents on the side skirts and roof spoiler, which was only taken off for the install). The only other thing I could have possibly suggested to doing to this car is also blacking out the chrome around the window trim area. However, that comes down to a preference thing and some people prefer having/leaving it chrome, but I like the blacked out look for the chrome since it gives the car a much sportier look. The owner of this car came out to me in Orange County/Anaheim Hills to get the work done.

This is another car that I worked on during one of my trips up to norcal/bay area to do vinyl wraps. I really like the way this car turned out. It's not often that a black car has me vinyl wrap their roof, but the owner of this black Mercedes Benz E55 AMG had me vinyl wrap his roof with the 3M di-noc matte carbon fiber finish vinyl material. The final result and effect is as you can see below. The matte/carbon finish roof really gives the car some more character in my opinion.

Overall, I think it changed the look of the car dramatically, even for something as small/simple as just the chrome trimming around the windows. Here is a car that I worked on during my norcal/bay area trip in San Jose. The owner of this car wanted to go with the 3M dinoc matte carbon fiber vinyl for his roof. As you can see, the material looks different from different angles. I tried taking it from multiple perspectives/angles to show you guys this effect. The carbon roof definitely gave this car a more aggressive look and I thought it went fairly well with the rest of the theme of the car.

I worked on this blue VW R32 MkV while up in norcal/bay area. For this car, I used my light smoke/tint film material on the car's tail lights. I took some before, during, and after pictures to show you guys the progression and how it compares to stock side by side. Overall, the shade of vinyl that I use is fairly light and gives the car that OEM+ look without being/looking too dark.

This is a returning customer of mine. The owner of this car previous has had me black out some chrome on his 5 series GT and also tint the tail lights on his X6 M before. I ended up doing this car at his house, since he happened to live down the street from me in Irvine, so it just worked out. We went with the matte black finish on this car to match the matte black B pillars that were already on the car. This was a brand new black BMW F10 528 sedan, and the slight change from chrome to black made quite a difference in the overall car's appearance.

You might see me post a lot of white cars, followed by black cars, but I also do get cars that are other than black and white that come by to get work done as well. I thought the gloss black roof for this red Infiniti G35 coupe turned out very well. The gloss black roof went well with the black/dark colored rims that were already on the car, which was the look that the owner of this car was trying to go for. He drove out to me in Anaheim Hills/Orange County to have the work done.

I don't know why, but I just don't end up posting very many pictures of the interiors that I have wrapped. I thought I had more pictures of this interior, but only one of them turned out well enough to post, since the others ended up being too dark, due to angle/lighting inside the car. This is the interior on an IS250/IS350 that I wrapped all of the hard wood pieces with the 3M 1080 gloss carbon fiber finish. The owner of this car had me wrap the pieces while still in the car. It's a nice change from wood, for those who are looking to get rid of the wood look or going after a sportier look.

This is one of the few new BMW F30 silver 328i sedan that I have wrapped with the 3M Di-noc matte carbon fiber finish recently. As you can see, the finish/look of the cf vinyl roof changes depending on the angle that you are looking at it and how the light reflects off of it. The matte carbon roof complimented the darker colored wheels that were on the car fairly well. The pictures don't do it much justice, since I was mainly focusing on capturing an accurate portrayal of the roof vs the finish of the wheels. The owner of this car drove out to me in Anaheim Hills/Orange County to have his roof wrapped.

Did a light tint/smoke install on this darker grey/gunmetal BMW 750i sedan F01. I took some before, during, and after pictures to give you guys a better picture of how the subtle changes/progress is like with my light tint/smoke vinyl material. I think the tail lights being slightly darker gave it a nice OEM+ look without making it look too modified, which is what the owner was trying to maintain. In addition to the tails, I also dod the reflectors in the bumpers to make sure that everything matched in the rear. The owner of this car drove from Los Angeles out to me in Orange County/Anaheim Hills to get the work done.

We went with the matte black finish over the gloss black finish to give it some more contrast and a somewhat more of an aggressive look. I think it overall went fairly well with the look of the car. The owner of this car drove out to me in Anaheim Hills/Orange County to have the work done. In addition the window trim, I also did the rear trunk bar that was chrome, which tied in nicely with the blacked out badges/emblems that were on the trunk as well. Only other thing that I could have possibly suggested is to also lightly tint the clear portion of his tail lights.

The owner of this white VW CC sedan had me vinyl wrap the roof of his car with my gloss black vinyl material. The car was brand new, and the owner wanted to give it that panoramic and two tone look. The car did not have a sunroof, so the black roof was seamless up top, which gave it a very nice large mirror effect and smooth look. I took some up close pictures of the edges to show you how I am able to cut the edges/lines straight even on cars that do not have roof rails (IE BMWs, Mercedes, etc).
